A true Zero to One story, together with Raine in 2019 we took them from electric scooter prototype to building a community of evangelists in just 4 months. From managing customer service and executing an international digital campaign, to building a vibrant community of customers that are passionate about the product – we enjoyed every moment of the ride.
Ahead of their product launch and crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter, we carried out a multi-channel digital strategy designed to build an engaged following and community.
The collective effort and coordination of multiple channels from digital advertising and email marketing, to social media strategy and community management, would earn Raine over $600K in sales in their first 30-days on Kickstarter.

To assist Raine in transitioning from Kickstarter startup to global online retailer, we successfully built the e-commerce engine and kept scaling pre-sales before production. We aligned website design with deep customer segmentation, social content, SEM, and SEO to create a dynamic customer journey heavily-focused on the end-user experience.
When you take care of your community, the sales take care of themselves. Now that the groundwork was laid for the Raine One, we moved our focus to boosting sales at the lowest cost possible, whilst nurturing the Raine community and building the brand across all channels.
During a very difficult time for businesses worldwide, we were able to triple the monthly run rate during the COVID-19 pandemic with organic sales becoming a larger part of the marketing engine with compounding growth in a downmarket.
After all the hype and hard work unfortunately the Raine team were unable to get their scooter into production leaving a bittersweet feeling for our team post this epic journey.
